"Spider-Man" (スパイダーマン, Supaidāman) was a television series produced by Tōei Company in 1978, based on Marvel Comics's superhero of the same name.
With miraculous spider-powers (and his GP-7 race car, and the mecha Marveller) granted to him by the dying alien Garia, a young motocross rider named Takuya Yamashiro becomes Spider-Man, seeking revenge on the terrible Professor Monster for killing his father. In each episode, Spider-Man squares off against the Machine Bem of Professor Monster's Iron Cross Army, concluding in basically the same monster-versus-giant-mecha battle (...)
